I’m a UCLA alum. I get UCLA alumni and giving emails often but today I got one from the “UCLA Parent & Family Association”. Found it odd. Makes me wonder if my child got in.
Child got “Explore YOur Interests at UCLA” on Feb 29th
My BIL is an URM that attended UCLA. He got asked by the Alumni Association to speak at one of their admitted student events. He thought it was a sign that his son had gotten in. Unfortunately, it was not.

i’m trying to submit my alumni scholarship and it won’t let me bc one is over the max 500 word limit… but it’s 499 so i’m confused and scared it won’t ever submit
never mind just had to reload it like 10 times 
We also got the Explore your Interests email on 2/29 - we are instate.
When will UCLA announce?
Historically the 3rd Friday of March. No confirmed date.
So you think that would mean 3/15 or 3/22? 3/15 is technically the third Friday, but the 15th is only 2 weeks into the month.
Last year it was 3/17, so I think it will be 3/15.

UC Davis posted decisions last year around 3 PM PST.
UCLA was around 5:00 pm last year.

Yes, and in case you are in AZ or HI, this weekend is daylight savings time in California.
I read on line last month that UCLA and UCSD already announced that their decision days for class of 2028 freshman will be delayed until 03/30/2024.
Could you link the source of that?
I haven’t seen that the admissions announcement was going to be delayed. However, the deadline to make a decision has been pushed back for all UCs and CSUs.
