This is INSANE! Congratulations!!!
How are you in berkeley already?
They let in a select number of applicants on Feb 9th
I love Golden Bears more than Bruins.
Just my personal preference, golden bear is looking further.
I do, too, although I’m a wee bit biased as both a Cal alumna and now a Cal parent
UCLA is, of course, a fantastic school, too - so no shade there. We are so fortunate in California to have so many great schools - both the UCs and the CSUs. But I do love the Bears on the Bay
@Gumbymom I got into UCLA! I have a quick question while registering for Bruin day it asked if any of my guests were UCLA alumni, and the funny thing is that my dad is an alum, do you know why they ask this? Go Bruins!
Congratulations on your acceptance. I do not know why they ask about UCLA alumni’s but hopefully someone with some knowledge will be able to answer your question.
Thank you thank you
Thank you thank you!!
I also like Cal, but without Bruins you wouldn’t see blue horses and purple cats.

Congrats to all admitted. My S23 is really enjoying his time at UCLA.
To those who didn’t get the news you’d like, it’s hard but this doesn’t define you. I know it stings but you’ll end up somewhere great for you. I promise you in 20 years no one will be saying my life would’ve been great but for the fact that I didn’t get into XYZ college. No one cares about 3-5 years after you leave college.
And, if they are still doing it, consider being a Move In Assistant (MIA). You get to move in a week or so early, free room and board, meet some people and familiarize yourself with the campus in exchange for working a few shifts (helping with move in). Your parents might appreciate your fixed move-in date. I think it was on the weekend too.
