Here is the data for the last 3 years and it varies each year. It will depend upon how many admitted students enroll after May 1 but UCLA has a pretty high yield rate usually around 50%.

For anyone that was just waitlisted - please know that there is DEFINITELY still a chance. I was on the waitlist last year and I got off a week before my graduation. Write a fire LOCI, submit it, and just be patient. Also feel free to PM if you have any questions, I’m happy to help as best I can.

Just wanted to hop on here and tell waitlisted students that there is 100% hope. I was waitlisted last year and now I go to UCLA. Good luck to you all

Last year they allowed waitlisted students to submit Mid-year grades and a waitlist statement so please let me know if this is an option this year. Thanks.

True. As far as academics go, we are happy with the UCs he has gotten in. Let us see if S25 is happy with no D1 Sports.

It varies. My daughter was waitlisted in 2023 but then was offered admission on April 28 (but by that point she’d gotten too excited about Berkeley).

Agreed. My daughter got off the waitlist last year. A waitlist means you’re still in it. Write the best LOCI you can.

S25 accepted, in-State, Data Science!
