anyone received the ucla regents?
Which school are you referring to with no D1 sports? D23 ended up at UCI (admittedly as a back up to UCLA at the time), but has loved it! And there are great sports. I think all UCs have great sports, but maybe not D1 football. Nothing beats the Bruins of course (well, maybe Stanford who has more nattys).

Same here. 0/3 (3 daughters) for my beloved UCLA so definitely disappointing, but expected. D25 has great options and I firmly believe all will end up where they are meant to be. One more week - see some of you on the Cal boards. ;0)
Last year Regents was posted a few days after the decisions.
And it was somewhat difficult to find, right?
Might check UCB astrology….

Yes, last year there was not much posted about UCLA regents. I made a notation that another CC poster saw some Regents notifications on a Parents Facebook page and one post on Reddit for March 19 4 days after the 2024 decisions.
Tremendous accomplishment!! Congratulations to you and your daughter
My D25 is admitted to pre-statistics/data science. Within the College, will she be able to transfer to other majors? And if she wants to transfer to engineering, is it near impossible? Just want to get some idea as we are still in shock that she is accepted.
Transferring to engineering is near impossible. Transferring within The College is not difficult. Each major should have information on how to declare the major.
Also, do different majors price differently at UCLA? We are considering UVA where my elder daughter is. Over there, each school is priced differently. Engineering is the most expensive. They are in general much more expensive than UCLA. So, I wonder if there are unforeseeable costs at UCLA.
D1 Football and Basketball.

International Student from India. 43 predicted IB out of 45. 10th and 11th grades were 98%. I attend a private school in New Delhi, India. I was admitted for Computer Science and Engineering. I know 11 other people from my school got into UCLA(could be more) and 5 were engineering majors. GO BRUINS!! My Dream School!!
