Has anyone heard anything for cognitive science? I thought it was considered impacted, kinda surprised nothing came out yet for it

No. There was an OOS and very few internationals wave in the week of April 22nd (throughout the week) then some random admits in May (OOS again), until this tuesday’s wave of IS and some more international. I have seen 3 internationals online mention their acceptance, two here and one on reddit, and one of my friends irl (who will most likely not take the offer). All we can do it wait. I still have hope, as should we all, as in most years the waitlist extends until June and even July.

ok but fr, whats going on w the in-state social science majors? i heard of polisci + public affairs (my major) movement from OOS but nada from IS

should the lack of movement concerned us? Maybe this is one of the years where there is very little movement, especially for in state.

in past years there has been no movement this early so i would say there is not a lack of movement and we should not be concerned necessarily

hey do yall think i can submit an another waitlist update if i have more stuff that came up since April 15th? they are all quite singificant, i was thinking of emailing it to my AO

For waitlisted students , you can only submit information up to the April 15 deadline which has now passed.

The deadline was April 15. They simply cannot continue to read updates up until the last minute and they won’t make an exception for a few applicants as that’s unfair to others who also have updates but chose to follow the rules.
