do these latest updates mean anything for OOS and in state students? Would more OOS be admitted due to less intls accepting their offer or would more IS be admitted since intls and IS students seem to be release in the same wave?
Iām guessing what they meant was that your visa status/citizenship isnāt considered within your āgroupā.
i dont understand when the intl wave will be tho..
it was supposed to be between 24th - 28th may based on data from the previous years
its already 30th and june starts in 2 days, so its probably less likely to expect a major intl wave now i assume, right?
Probably just trickling from here on
My best guess is that one of these two things is happening:
- They are waiting this whole Trump situation out a little bit before starting the international āwaveā (because some admitted international students might now be unable to attend because of the situation etc). This is purely an assumption.
- The more likely situation is that there wonāt be another wave, just random offers of admission from now.
i donāt think any wave is possible now but last year there were many intls admitted on 1st June
We shall see tonight
how tonight?
A wave is just a group of admits together so it can happen but not a big wave
barely any intls have gotten off this year, weird.
Wave today pls
Yes pleaseā¦eagerly waiting
Any news?
nothing today ig?
guys general question: have many intls really gotten off the waitlist this year or just a very small number
They have been releasing at various timeā¦so wait until 10:30 or else maybe tomorrow
D OOS got off WL today, going to reject.
how tomorrow? isnāt the office closed?
what time and major ?
They have released on Saturdays
