My son decided to stick with the school he committed to during end of April (honors elsewhere).
Best wishes to folks waiting and hopefully someone eagerly waiting would get this seat (L&S, physics major).

should we be expecting anything for IS freshman this week?
Freshmen admits will likely continue through june like they have every year but I feel there’ll be no more waves only trickles.

It’s best to not have any expectations in general and just be happy about whatever other school you’re planning on going to. Waitlists are very competitive regardless of whether you’re international or not

I think he’s specifically mentioning intl cuz all the funny business surrounding intl students rn and the fact that there hasn’t yet been a large intl wave
she* and yes thats exactly why, also cause ucla usually has an intl wave after completing is and oos admits quota
so are you saying there is still hope?
i dont know what to think about this tbh.
i dont think they will release waves in june just trickles i guess
but im somewhat hoping that theyre waiting for this trump thing to die down before sending a wave for intls, idk unlikely tho
