My son decided to stick with the school he committed to during end of April (honors elsewhere).
Best wishes to folks waiting and hopefully someone eagerly waiting would get this seat (L&S, physics major).

should we be expecting anything for IS freshman this week?
Freshmen admits will likely continue through june like they have every year but I feel thereāll be no more waves only trickles.

Itās best to not have any expectations in general and just be happy about whatever other school youāre planning on going to. Waitlists are very competitive regardless of whether youāre international or not

I think heās specifically mentioning intl cuz all the funny business surrounding intl students rn and the fact that there hasnāt yet been a large intl wave
she* and yes thats exactly why, also cause ucla usually has an intl wave after completing is and oos admits quota

i dont think they will release waves in june just trickles i guess
but im somewhat hoping that theyre waiting for this trump thing to die down before sending a wave for intls, idk unlikely tho

Just got off the waitlist for Materials Sci and Engineering at 6:14 IST!! Iām an international student. Iāve been following this sub for a while so I thought of updating.
