GENERAL COMMENTS:
Good luck everyone!!! ![]()
The portal is still unavailable. Are we sure it is today?
No confirmation for today only predicted and they usually take the portal down prior to releasing decisions.
portal is still down bruh ucla is just playing in our faces
We checked, and the portal says, “currently unavailable.”
Their student group on instagram seemed to state its 28th, not today. Not sure if they are serious as people commented they lied to people in the past.
1 data point: 2 years ago our rejection came out at precisely 5:13 pm. ![]()

GS Gold award (over 200 service hours), Editor-in-chief of school newspaper, going to Nationals as part of the We the People (only 2 teams from CA are going)
Applied for Pol Sci with alternate as Intl relations.
Congratulations to everyone who got in.
ADMITTED! First acceptance that actually excites me!
This will only stay up for a bit but here you go!
I really wish they could incorporate a ranking system so the students desire could be counted.
None of the UC’s consider an applicants level of interest as part of the admission criteria.
Yes, I’m saying I wish it become part of the criteria in the future, i.e. incorporate some level of matching. Because if students continue to increase in the number of applications, the arbitrariness will keep going up. I’m on my last kiddo, so we are okay.
My daughter’s decision: waitlisted to something like a marine bio major
UC UW: 3.88
UC capped: 4.14
UC FW: 4.58
ELC don’t know
I am not sure about all the other stats - she had maybe 4 honors courses, 5 or 6 APs and a bunch of CC courses.
No awards but did a lot of marine bio ECs
in state
not first gen
strengths: marine bio ECs
weakness: lower UW GPA
accepted at UCSD, UCSC and waitlisted at UCD, UCSB, UCLA, CSLB and still waiting for UCB, SDSU, Cal Poly SLO (last two are probably rejects or waitlists)
