Hi guys! I’m an international dev studies major and I recently got admitted to UCLA as a transfer! Though, last quarter I got 2 C’s (1 C+ in major prep and 1C+ in non major prep course). The reason being the teacher for my major prep course being a total a*shole and she failed most of the class with no specific reason; she never responded to e-mail, platforms that she uses never works, etc. Me and other classmates are petitioning grade change but it seems that we have no luck so I might have to report this grade soon to admission! Will I get rescinded tho???
I applied with 3.51 GPA and now my GPA is 3.42
It’s most likely I will earn strath A’s for my spring classes.

@Lex7777777 it was an email stating that our FA package has been updated. Once you click on the link it gives you the congratulations letter.

What is exactly meant by maintaining your gpa in the conditional acceptance. Will any drop in your gpa get you rescinded?
Usually, 1C can only pull your GPA down ~.03 then it does not make any significant change. 2C is ~0.7. So it makes sense when people shared that the Uni would ask your explanation if you get 2 C, but you should be ok, more than that can cause a big problem.
Updating: I’m still waiting for their review after reporting that I dropped one class to fulfill IGETC. I did suggest to take it this summer.
@Lex7777777 sorry, I’m not sure. I think the others on this thread got it right around the time I did yesterday morning. You might want to reach out to the Regents office

@hych12 I don’t have my own experience, that’s what I read from a lot of people’s stories sharing that they had to explain the reason they got 2 C and suggested to re-take it in summer or so. I read a lot because I was worried to be rescinded after reporting I dropped a GE class to fulfill IGETC.
