in the same boat. I know it seems really hard, but it’s helped me a lot to come to terms with what college I’ve already committed to. While ucla would be fantastic, life is all about twists and turns. if ucla doesn’t work out, it’s because truley there’s something better in store.

Hmm, thank you! By the 29th last year, they had released some decisions, so I’m assuming same goes for this year since the box is up

No clue, but I would assume random…
I feel that so much. I just try and think that college is just a stepping stone, it’s only four years. I hope it works out for everyone
Yep! And its not good to fixate on this so much, I’ve realized that it’s really gotten to an unhealthy point, so Im trying to take the advice of someone who posted earlier in the thread that said, “You need to start loving the schools that love you back…” !

Any reports of people getting off the waitlist yet? I got off the waitlist last year on the same date as today (April 28th). Just wondering because I have a few friends who are currently waitlisted and they’d like to know!
Haven’t heard anything yet. I think the UCs pushing back the SIR deadline to May 15th will lead to waitlist notifications coming later than last year’s dates.

I got off last year on April 28th, which I believe was a Friday.

Nothing yet… if something will come today, maybe it will come around 5pm, when they usually release decisions.
What major were you? Was it impacted?
I was admitted as a CS major, which is impacted.
ohh ok i just checked the calendar and it was a friday. i’m pretty sure they’re only gonna release on weekdays, and this year results prob won’t come out until early may or after may 15. congrats on getting in btw, i’m praying for the same results for myself!!
