Nope. All admits today so far have been OOS
Any economics major accepted?
Is there anyone got off SSE?
Also, what did you write in the second box of the portal, if you are comfortable sharing!
Hmmm so weāre not expecting any in state movement today?
I hope not. Lol.
Ahh I see. Is this consistent with past trends or pure speculation?
Probably not at this point. That would be a lot of admits in one day.
I see. We expecting anything tomorrow or Saturday maybe? I saw someone say they admit on Saturdays too.
They could release tomorrow, but I think Saturday. I think they might wait to see how this initial wave responds, since they only have 3 days.
Hmmm but this one was purely OOS though, so I think theyāre cooking an in state wave for the following couple days (at least as per the 18% cap for OOS students). Idk though this isnāt confirmed info obviously haha
True, but do you think they get through their OOS applicants first completely, then move on to in-state? I think they probably alternate. Also, even last year, waves didnāt happen everyday I believe, they were spaced apart.
For the last couple of years, the first wave of admits have been a mixture of IS, OOS and International. Since there is only 3 days to decide, they probably want to lock in the OOS/International admits first??
So do you think the next wave might not be until 3 days? Possibly Monday morning even.
I no longer try to guess or speculate since things change every year. In general, when admits had 7 days to decide, you would see at least 7 days between waves. So maybe Monday with the 3 day deadline.
That makes sense. Thanks
Is it possible to find out how many OOS got off waitlist today? How many empty seats are for OOS and Intel students?
None of the UCās offer that kind of information other than the # of waitlisted students, # that opted into the waitlist, the # admitted and sometimes the # that enrolled.
I have never been able to find the breakout of IS, OOS or International waitlist admits nor how many spots are avaialble when then waitlists start admitting.
Is it a bad sign I havenāt heard anything Iām OOS and a business economics major like do you think they admitted most of their OOS people now or are they still gonna do more OOS waves in the next few days
Probably not THE END for OOS, but given the 18% cap I donāt know to be real with you.
