They don’t consider the grades for spring semester senior year?
My nephew said he got straight As senior year and tried to update the grades for spring semester, but the form is grayed out. He didn’t fill the grades for spring smester on the form, will his mistake make him disadvantaged?
The waitlist opt in deadline is April 15 so students would not have their Senior Spring grades finalized. None of the UC’s consider Senior year grades in the admission process. Senior grades are mainly evaluated to make sure the students are on track to graduate and fulfill the conditions of admission.
Why do people think there were significant numbers accepted today?
There were a lot on this thread alone, as well as some on reddit and tik tok.
I think someone asked this, on the waitlist acceptance thing it gives us 7 days to decide.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it said three on the FAQ. But the letter said 11:59 pm on May 23.
What’s on your letter? UCLA allows you to accept the offer by May 19th or May 23rd?

I was being sarcastic haha, I don’t know why on the FAQ it would say 3 days but now they give 7.
I thought you have good reasons for being optimistic. 
With the way they have been playing us, there isn’t much great news

I think someone got off for cs + linguistics, but I’m not sure about other CS admits
Do you know if there were any engineering admits in general? Haven’t heard of any but that’s probably because not everyone posts online.
Worried that I am not seeing any English major admits. That could either mean the major is full, or just a coincidence that no one has posted about getting off as an English major. Really hope it’s the latter.
