Congrats!! So School of Engineering only confirmed today then.
So last time there was an IS Engineering wave it was a Friday, then was followed by an IS L&S wave on Tuesday, I believe. So about 4 days apart, counting that Friday. Maybe next IS L&S wave is Saturday?
Also just wanna say congrats to @Billy_Magnold!! I was really rooting for you, super happy you got in:)
Also, just curious, until what date did they give you to accept?

I think that the entirety of the way that theyâre handling the waitlist process is a bit cruel to the students right now. I donât understand the point of having to wait sooo long without knowing when the next waves will be and overthinking/stressing yourself out over a decision that kind of shouldâve already been made. I know thereâs probably many applications that they have to go through and I totally understand that, but this is all so unfair to the students who have no clue whatâs going on. They should at least give us a timeline of what the waitlist waves will be, which majors are being released, etc. Just a little rant, but I definitely think L&S we are okay right now, I havenât heard of any that came off the WL today!

Totally agree.
I completely agree. They should be giving us at least SOME info about what to expect. This guessing game is actually so draining.

Please try not to think about being on the waitlist on your graduation day whenever that is. I know itâs difficult not to, but you worked so hard during your high school years to get to this point.
You all deserve to be proud, celebrate and enjoy your achievements with those you love on graduation day!

Itâs always on my mind haha, but Iâm gonna try to enjoy the moment with my friends and family that day, wouldnât wanna look back at graduation and all I remember is thinking about the UCLA waitlist the whole ceremony

Totally understand your feeling! Being on the waitlist itself is a life experience, along with the acceptances and rejections. Each teaches us different things. Enjoy your graduation with all these experiences! You will do great wherever you go!

Hoping L & S is friday as housing for SIRed college is due by Saturday fingers crossed for everyone.
Anytime between tomorrow and Saturday is possible IMO. I think Saturday is more likely since it is 4 days from now (similar to how the last Engineering and IS L&S waves behaved), but who knows⊠they could surprise us and make it tomorrow, since there have been some back to back waves.
Me too:,) my graduation is on friday, but I think you should be SO excited for where youâre already committed to! Iâm genuinely so excited for either school, even if it wasnât my first choice
I have been getting excited about my other choice, since I just recently found out my tuition is fully covered (was stressing about that too for so long haha). Itâs honestly an amazing school, especially for the program I was admitted into.
But at the end of the day, UCLA has and will always be my #1

It looks like Berkeley prioritized Engineering today as well⊠wonder why Engineering is having itâs own separate waves this year.
Also this supposed âwaveâ is not confirmed, just based on a few things I saw but thatâs all. The posters could easily be lying since I didnât see a significant number.
Can I submit an SIR to UCLA since I got off the wl even if I have one submitted for UCI?
