Yes! Submit your SIR to UCLA first (make sure it’s official), then rescind your SIR for UCI.
Alright thank you!
Yes, you can. After you receive a confirmation that SIR is complete and you have UCLA student id, please remember to withdraw from UCI.
Any activity today?
Doesn’t seem like it. I think they’ll just wait for Saturday
Thanks. I have my Diploma/Graduation ceremony next week, hope to hear back before that.
Same here! Well, mine is on the 10th, but either way, it’s approaching and I really want a decision by then.
My son got off the waitlist this morning. Int’l student (L&S). Email came a bit later than the other waves (around 9:00 am). Totally unexpected considering how few international students were enrolled last year.
Congrats!!
Wonder if they are done with IS L&S. I was really expecting a wave today. Or, maybe they are trying to get the remaining International and OOS L&S done before another IS wave?
I can’t imagine that 100 % of the L&S admits from last week said yes. I am sure there will be more coming. Fingers crossed!
Got off the waitlist this morning at around 6:50 PST! International studying in the US (OOS high school, if it matters), didn’t send a LOCI, Arts and Science.
Good luck to everyone else!
Congrats!
Highly doubt it. If the OOS/Int’l cap isn’t full yet, very low likelihood they’ve filled up the majority portion of the class (the IS portion)
Does anyone have a list of the dates the different groups (Int, OOS, IS) have been accepted off the waitlist?
No, but I’ll compile a list/chart when I get home, so it will be easier for us to track!
But wouldn’t OOS and Intl take longer to fill? Compared to IS which would fill spots quicker, therefore having higher yield in waitlist waves
Doubt it. Less number of spots with higher frequency of admits for OOS.
Since they’ve now done 2 waves back to back, wonder if there will be another tomorrow. I’m just curious as to when the larger IS wave will be. It’s like they keep pushing it off and doing OOS and Intl
Idk bro. I highly doubt they’re done with the entirety of the In-State admits within 2 weeks of the SIR deadline. Such a thing hasn’t occurred in the recent history of the UCLA waitlist at all, so I’d still say there’s hope. (Or I’m cooked lmao)
I also highly doubt they’re done with the entirety, but I have a feeling they went through a majority and future waves will be small. Idk though, I pray I’m completely wrong.
