do students who get off the waitlist still receive an acceptance package in the mail?
So I called to inquire about this, and the guy told me that we donāt. However, I asked multiple people who got off the waitlist in previous years if they received one, and they said they did. So who knows, but I might send an email to them about it. I want my stickersssš

Did students who were accepted in March receive one? I know some schools send basically nothing. Itās been close to three weeks and we havenāt received any snail mail. Congrats again, by the way!

Does anyone know when waitlist admits get notified about their housing assignment? I submitted my housing application a couple of days ago, but iām just curious.
Was wondering the same thing! Also, I was hearing the application is due today or something? Can anyone verify this?
Housing application is due within 15 days of receiving the acceptance. I canāt get the link right now, but if you go to UCLAās Ask Housing page, and search up waitlisted, one of the pages will be about housing applications for waitlisted students.
My friend who was admitted in the regular decision round got their assignment a few weeks after submitting their application, not sure if the same will happen for waitlisted students.
Ahh okay. I have a question - so two of my friends are going to accept their housing offer today (they got admitted in March), but without a third person. I have yet to receive my housing offer, so when I do and I accept it, would it be possible to be added to their triple housing? Or would I be assigned to a random room. Iām just worried since they are ahead and mine is delayed, we wonāt be able to get a dorm together.

Yeah you can room with those friends, but ONLY if you get the same dorm type and building. If you donāt get the same dorm or building, youāre allowed to fill out a form to ask to be switched, but thereās no guarantee that youāll be able to switch (due to space availability). You could also try switching with other people by yourself on Reddit, but not sure how that process works.
