Anyone applying this year? I’m applying as a rising junior to the bioengineering program.

I’m applying, as rising junior too, in the electrical engineering program.

I’m applying as a rising senior to the CS program.

Rising senior, bioE

Is this program for only LA students. Website does not mention anything but just confirming.
rising senior, bioE and civil
@ShriGanesha The deadline already passed, but no, it isn’t just for LA students! It’s just that people from other areas have to pay a housing fee (in state: $4500, out of state: $5000) or find their own place to stay during the duration of the program.
I’m a rising junior, applying to both the computer science and electrical engineering programs.

@blackwiz55 Yeah finally! I was worrying about my letters of recommendation the past few days.
Your stats are amazing. Now I have to compete with you… haha I can definitely see you making it in though!
My ECs are nowhere near yours… and my LORs were only alright. One of my teachers for sure wrote a good LOR for me, but I’m not too sure about the other two. And as for my essay, it was okay as well, nothing too special (not my best piece, but not my worst either).
How do you think your LORs and essay went?
@minteacup I got LORs from my AP Statistics teacher, AP Computer Science teacher, and the founder of one of my EC’s, The Beaker. My essay was fairly easy to write because I was really passionate about what I had to say about engineering.
Nice! I definitely mentioned my love for computer science, but not so much for engineering in general…
Are you applying for anything else besides HSSRP?
wait @blackwiz55 how are you a rising junior if you’re taking junior year rn? maybe you meant rising senior?
also, my stats are nowhere near the two of you haha

When is the decision day? March 28?
March 31 I think
DD just got the initial acceptance e-mail.
@motherof3kids Congratulations to you DD. What was the first choice area of research for you DD? Did anyone else get emails? It seems a little early this year. I was expecting it towards the end of the week.
That is interesting. In the past, they always released decisions on Fridays.
Yes, a little early, so it was a surprise to get the email. Thanks @Girlsworld. TBH I don’t remember her first choice, but probably ME.
Did anyone else get email from them?
one of my friends did on Sunday at 5 pm ish
