Ucla i-20

I have sent off my CFS on the 15th of May, and I called the international admissions office in UCLA, to ask them if they could send the I-20 early, as I have plans to travel after my exams (UK A Levels). They only said that it will be released on a rolling basis starting on July 1st.

Does anybody have an idea of when I can expect the I-20?
Secondly, how long does it take to process the visa? I am in the UK and am an indian citizen.

What A-Levels did you take? What grades did you get?

I am taking Physics, biology, chemistry, maths (mechanics), and further maths in OCR. I am in the senior year. I am predicted to get 5 As. Which college are you going to?

I am doing my AS levels from edexcel. I took physics, chemistry, maths and biology. I see you took 5 A-Levels. Can you suggest me one more subject which i can do? How easy/tough is further maths?

I am not sure about Edexcel further maths, but it seems that AS F.Maths is about as tough as A level maths courses. I would encourage you to join, as it makes physics and maths a piece of cake.

It is more of understanding and applying the concepts rather than following a predetermined route like in maths. There is more self study. I was not set homework as such, but I had to be able to answer any type of question on that topic, otherwise the next lesson would be gibberish. A bit like university really.

I do not know about any other courses. However, you have to find out if you can handle the extra work. Above all, your grades must not be affected, as A levels are a lot harder, and there is a higher chance you will lose more marks there.

I hope this was helpful.
