UCLA or Purdue for Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate

<p>Hi.
So, I just got admitted into UCLA and Purdue for mechanical engineering, and am waiting on my results from other institutes.
So, I was wondering about which one would be a better choice for my undergraduation(i am waiting on berkeley and michigan as well, so if you can talk about them, it would be amazing).
About me : I am an international student and I want to do my post graduation directly after my undergrad (not deciding on preferred degree because i might change my mind in 4 years). I believe the California climate would be the perfect fit for me, but education is a priority over others, so if you can comment on the education and societal aspects of these institutes, it would be great :)</p>

<p>Also, how does the provisional admission at UC’s work? Suppose for example, I got 98% marks predicted as my final exam scores but scored about 10% less than that , would my admission be revoked, after I confirm my attendance at the UC?</p>

<p>Oh, and just for the record, the predicted marks question is a hypothetical scenario(just want to get an idea of how the system works) as i haven’t gotten my actual scores yet and my predicted scores is different as well</p>
