I made mine long
I had the CCCP team that works with UCLA review my responses. They said they were good. It was reviewed by a mentor and by one of the directors there. I also made mine like 6500+ characters. So it isnāt a huge deal if its lengthy or not.

imma be honest I kinda just sat down and wrote everything I could think of that was valuable to me and my desire/experience with ucla and then submitted it. Like Imma forget about it and if I get in, I get in, but if not itās whatever. Like tbh guys itās probably best to just assume youāre going to the other school you SIR to and save yourself the stress of worrying because everything happens for a reason

Do UCās see the supplementary statement form the waitlists of other UCās that you are also opting in for waitlisting?

Iām in a similar situation. UCSD housing applications arenāt due until June 7th so my plan was to commit on May 29th. So that leaves me with a few days to hear back from ucla. And if I donāt hear anything back I will most likely submit my application and the non refundable deposit.
I feel like itās kinda up in the air this year. Last year more students got off the waitlist because some students werenāt comfortable paying so much money for Zoom classes. However this year we will be going back to campus so idk if more people will commit to UCLA knowing that.
Anyone know when should we expect to hear from them?
im really hoping! really nervous though because its so impacted and I feel like more people will be accepting in general 
last year people started hearing as early as end of may so I would expect the same this year!
