My high school doesn’t rank but I know I’m definitely not in the top 10%, and they could probably figure that out too if you’re saying they try to, but I still got 18.5K a year, so I don’t think it’s a hard rule, or if it is, then they don’t really try to estimate your rank if you don’t have one
does anyone know how uconn compares to uvm. i am from connecticut and got into uvm ea with a nice scholarship and was just wondering if the two schools are comparable
when are they going to release them??? it cant be at 4 exactly unless they plan to stay in their offices later, right?
Waiting for the decision to be released seems more nerve wracking than the decision itself
Decisions can easily be scheduled to release at any time, whether or not the office is open. I suspect it will be later, after the office closes. Also thinking they don’t want to release them during normal HS hours. Just a guess.

@abialik My D’s final list right now is UVM, UDel, UConn, UNH and TCNJ. We visited UVM recently, and my D absolutely loved it. The campus is beautiful and feels like a private college. It has roughly 11k students, and everyone we met really seemed happy to be there. Random people went out of the way to help us get where we needed to be. It was rated by Princeton Review in the top 20 for happiest students. Burlington is a wonderful city with lots of great food, bars, etc. She would be a nursing major, and she met several nursing accepted students that she got along really well with. They have a semester-long study abroad program for nurses in Australia, which is really unique for the major. The downsides are the cold and the distance (5 hours) from NJ. If she is accepted to UConn and the price is right, we will schedule a visit. My impression is that UConn is a self-contained community in the middle of nowhere. Great school spirit, high retention rate, sports-oriented, low acceptance rate, but really large.

@amandamanda uconn doesn’t follow a pattern with their decision releases, but it’s safe to assume they’ll be released after they leave the office at 4, so maybe anywhere between 5-8??? last year they released at 820pm but i feel like that won’t happen this time around
i have work at 6 so i’m going to be checking the whole time bouta get fired LOL
Still waiting, my daughter was a national merit finalist, GPA 4.3 do they take that in when deciding merit
