Nothing in mail today.
So they say decisions will start to come out by end of day today and continue to come out next week.
where did you hear that?
The website says: “Admissions decision notification begins March 1” so I’m not sure why everyone assumed by March 1st.
Because every other year in the recent past, decisions came earlier.
Makes me wonder if the number of applications is way up this year… perhaps they needed every last second to finish processing. I don’t recall the last time decisions weren’t released by now.
Two years ago my daughter found out on the portal (before her packet arrived in the mail) but for the life of me I can’t remember when that was nor do I recall a blue dot (although she did get merit $$). She decided to go to a different school. My son has applied to 16 schools and has not heard back from any of them yet. This is torture!
@janjmom it makes me wonder what might’ve caused a possible spike in applications compared to last year…
I read an article recently that said when UCONN’s basketball teams aren’t winning as much they get less applications so maybe the normal increase yearly will be offset by that. . But who knows!
Last year people posted about the phonebook…Has anyone not taking ece credit seen that?
Yah, I did and didn’t see my name and I got accepted (like a couple weeks ago, decisions aren’t officially out yet don’t worry guys)

@impatientmom this is the last school we are waiting on. We are waiting on Lehigh but have decided not to go there’ are hearing about the Greek life and party scene.
@HSinLI - Funny you say that about Lehigh. My daughter attends Lafayette and is in a sorority this year but the party scene is not nearly as big at her school compared to Lehigh. In fact, some of her classmates go to Lehigh on a regular basis for parties! Academically though, it’s a very good school.

16 schools and no decisions yet? That is crazy! My DD applied to 9 schools, we have 7 decisions back already and UMass and UConn are the only two left. Unless maybe you just recently applied to all of them?

@HankCT - no they are all schools that state “Decisions will be released by April 1” with many of them notifying students in mid - March (another 2 week, ugh!). He has a few schools that have verbally told him he’s in (from coaches) but until he receives a letter or update on the portal I don’t consider that a definitive answer!
Just got a phone call from a CT number and it was a telemarketer! Good way to get on my nerves right now
Hey guys. I just called the office because I am getting impatient. The lady said that the portals will get updated sometime today.
It’s smart for Admissions to release decisions on a Friday after there is nobody left to answer phones from angry applicants. By Monday, UConn will be a distant memory for many.
