I got waitlisted. Does anyone know how they handle the waitlists and how many people got accepted from the waitlist last year? Is it randomized or based on stats?

Since when did UCSB become more competitive?!?! I remember people from my school getting in last year with 3.6 GPA’s and 1160 SAT scores. I got in for Computer Engineering
