@bobaloverr The apartments are maybe a 15-20 min walk to campus, but I have a few friends in IV who literally live right on the cusp of campus, so if you can get a place in IV it would probably be better, walking-wise.

Recieved my admittance package through the mail today ! Same notifcation I first recieved through my portal, info on transfering early for the summer sessions, steps towards enrollment and what is essentially a poster of the campus.

@BlackPlasma I have VERY similar stats, but took accounting 2 the spring before with an A and am currently taking my calculus req. Still no word here either, but UCR has accepted me and has given very, very good aid so I’m not stressing. Just gonna assume I’m going to riverside until the 22nd when Davis sends out acceptances, by then SB should decide.

Did anyone get their super cool admissions packet in the mail? It comes with a poster and a letter. I was so excited that I hung both up immediately, lol.
@100789 Me!! The poster is so cute it makes me want to cry, my #1 choice was ucsb since I graduated high school and got rejected rolls eyes but YAY
I just checked my mailbox and got the packet as well! I love the poster and my mom is surprised at how beautiful UCSB is!
Did anyone who TAGed to UCSB get a message about their TAG status? Is it just assumed that our TAG was approved if we got admitted?
@wtcantfw Nope. I did TAG and got admitted but there was nothing in the admissions portal about TAG.

I was accepted on the first day and got my packet!! The poster is soooo cool B-) Now I have to look into these summer courses.
