@CATransfer2016 Thanks! Waiting on my Financial Aid package however. If they screw me over like you guys and don’t give grants or work-study even though I qualify for blue and gold I’ll probably end up going elsewhere 
@nothingpersonal If you qualify for Blue+Gold then you will most certainly at least get 15k in grants to cover tuition.

When do you guys think we shd apply for housing? I really like one of their residence halls but I’m scared that if I wait till late May to apply, it’d be full already. I’m planning to wait cos I haven’t heard back from USC yet.
how do you find out your aid status? ive been accepted, but it wont let me look at my aid without submitting my SIR
Sorry I haven’t checked this thread in a few days but for those who asked ( @ananguiano @uchopeful414 ) I really only left Davis for mental health-related reasons. There’s not a ton to do there if youre bad at socializing (so that wasn’t great for me), but the school was awesome! I loved the campus and classes a lot, and the poli sci program is really good. I only decided to transfer because SB is my hometown, and I was going a bit crazy in Davis. Most people love it, though!
@akfieldhockey I have no idea, I keep checking and all I’m getting is the “No Financial Aid information is available at this time.” stuff. Hope I find out soon.
Does anyone have any input as to how ucsb’s cell and developmental biology is like? Any information would suffice. I did look it up but I would like to know experiences. Or other sites to ask this question.

I talked to the admissions office and they said they were cutting off at 3.2 for transfer students if that helps anyone. She told me after reviewing my application I was a strong applicant but I’m still nervous. This is my top choice.
Accepted: CPP, CSULB and Cal State Fullerton so far.
@med97student Did you do get any federal pell grant and did you apply for the cal grant?
I’m getting pretty impatient since its been almost 2 weeks since decisions were released. My gpa was 3.76 for pre-Econ. I’ve already been ridiculously impatient waiting for UCLA but ugh I just want to hear back already!
@topchoiceschool No federal pell grant. I submitted my FAFSA but did not apply for the cal grant. I figure my parents’ income is too high.
@Cheolf I don’t get why I got rejected with a 4.0 though? And I did have 45 semester Ap credits from high school according to Uc planner… All pre reqs done haha don’t understand

@kevinl1997 how many college credits did you have… if your username is any indication of your age then you are 19 and I imagine it is hard to have the 30 credits required before applying to transfer and the 60 credits required by the end of spring. Also you can call admissions and they will tell you why you didn’t get in, at least they did for me last year.

I got accepted into econ/accting around midnight on Friday. Coming from a CSU too!! It’s possible y’all! Still waiting on the other UC’s though
