Can anyone tell me if it is possible to transfer from Physics to Mechanical Engineering in UCSB? I got accepted into my alternate major…
Or is it hard to choose other engineering majors when I am applying a graduate school? What do physics people usually do in their career except education or researching…?
I want to go to UCSB instead of UCI but m so lost with a physics major
got accepted for economics! Anyone here needs a roommmate?! Im down to get a place that is quiet and far away from all the parties. I need to graduate already hahaha
Did you guys get aid for ‘room and board’ in your official award letter? Is that already included in the grants? I’m just a little confused because it doesn’t specifically say it on theirs unlike UCSC.
@whatislife5 Well The amount is added to your aid. So I think for UCSB its 32k or something. You can look for the amount of each cost individually. All the money you get is applied to room and tuition then if you have anything left over I believe they give it to you. If I may ask, how much money did you get??? I got around 22k or 23k in grants. So whatever is left from paying tuition, it will be sent to cover the room and board.
UCSB guarantees 2 years of housing accommodations for newly admitted TRANSFER students in university undergraduate apartments for students who apply on time.
There are no single occupancy spaces available for incoming Transfer students, and roughly one third of our apartment spaces available will be triple occupancy rooms.
@ccstudent1517 Well I got some grants, but I really don’t want get any loans at all right now.
@bmora101 You don’t get until you officially sir. You should be able to check from the admissions portal where it says you got accepted. At the top click financial status and it will take you to a webpage with the info.
