@cloud7 The admissions people have been pretty chill when I called.
@ilovemydog2019 There’s no way for people to tell how much money is in your account…but if anyone’s judging, all you have to do is put your head up and keep on. You’re there for the degree and only have time for the good people that come around.
Or you could always explain “…the way my account is set up…” lol
I walked around the campus and the people seemed pretty normal. It was a quiet day though with few people.
If I could change the way admissions were done, it would be best to release ALL decisions on the same day like UCLA. I wouldn’t mind waiting I think it helps with the insurmountable anxiety. We wouldn’t have thoughts of rejection, just because we were not admitted in the earlier batches.

I focused on helping the English Language Learner community at my college, and now I work as a Program Assistant at my community college assisting and opening classes for those people. I learned English when I came to California 4 years ago so I talked about how that inspired me even more to come to college and help open doors for other students like me and that led me to be the youngest employee at my college.
STILL WAITING FOR UC Berkeley, UCSD, and UCLA.
I’m grateful I got into UCSB and going there would be really nice, but I am hoping to get into one of the other schools I am waiting for!
Do they announce more today? Or they are finished their admission announcement for the 15th yesterday?

I checked Sunday morning with decision still pending, then I checked at 11pm and it was accepted.

Did anyone here who has been admitted sign up for one of their admitted transfer tours? They have none left to sign up for but we are still taking my daughter there tomorrow ( 6 hour drive ugh ) so she can look around anyway.

A friend of mine who applied for CS, got in for his second major (mathematics).
Still pending wish they just released all decisions in one particular week so we wouldnt have to be stressing out for an entire month, this is crazy…
@chloesalem Thanks for posting this, I’ve been wondering if there has been anyone who has heard back for CS… If you have his stats do you mind sharing them with me?

I keep getting more discouraged every day that I don’t hear, and then see more people with admissions decisions. I haven’t heard from any of the 6 UC’s I applied to. 3 of them release on one day, 3 are rolling, and the rolling ones are giving me so much anxiety.
