@ashyashy I’ve been wondering the same thing after a few people posted they got accepted yesterday and no one has done that today! and people seem to be finding out about their acceptances at such random times through out the day rather than releasing another wave at 5pm for example.

prereq: (probably the reason) didn’t do their articulate cs classes, (did java classes when they require c++)

accepted: UCI(tag), UCSC
waiting: UCD UCSD
now im really scared for UCSD 
@chloesalem Sorry to hear that. If you really want to know the reason you can call the admissions office and they’ll tell you exactly why. Maybe it could help you write an appeal?

Applied as a global studies major which was probably where I went wrong. My prereqs don’t really fit this major, but I didn’t want to apply impacted.

I applied to UCSD, UCSB, UCSC, UCLA, UCB, UCI and UCR. This is the first one I have heard from and it’s a rejection with a 4.0. I’m so discouraged and heartbroken. I have no idea what I’m going to do for a year if I don’t get in anywhere.
I’d prefer a no instead of seeing decision-pending one more time…

I know my chances are much lower being an OOS transfer, but my hopes are still high

@ucdochopeful2k19 sometimes it’s just about having those prereqs completed. Have you completed them for the other UCs?
