Did someone get an email from UCSC admissions - asking you to send grades so they can update your application?

I got off the waitlist Sunday 06/02 - “releasing some of our transfers admissions decision today”

Today I got accept UCSC for environmental class.
today is 3rd wave
My son received an email yesterday from admissions stating that he is still on the waitlist and that they’re keeping the waitlist open until end of August, which is an extension of what they previously communicated.
Has anyone heard anything yet
