I sure hope you’re right! cus irvine asked to see my winter grades, they requested it through the uc application site, but at the end of the letter it was signed UC Irvine Undergraduate Admissions and I was just thinking fuuuuuuuu I hope they don’t share this with the other uc’s!

This is soo irritating, its 2:00 and I still have the same message.

ughhhh, UCSD is really ****ing me off at this point. They should have been more fair and released all the decisions together and let us know exactly when they were going to release them, this is ridiculous!

just hope the other uc’s don’t see it cus and just stick with my fall gpa

@babyygurl, yeah todays not the day I guess, but is your housing message still the same “our records indicate you can’t sign up for housing at this time blah blah call the village at regular hours blah blah blah?”

cus I heard a lot of people’s admission status changes to accepted after they get a different housing message that tells them to apply for housing on May 2nd

This is really fuXXing ****
What is worng with UCSD
they seem like they are enjoying this …
that people are going crazy for waiting…
Seriously they have to do something different in next year.

This is how it always is. First batch comes out, people rejoice. Others get ****ed off and begin to complain (me one of them; got accepted to UCSD April 30, 5pm last year).

Why don’t they release it all in one go? Well, they’re getting rid of/gotten rid of their freshman applicants, so once that nightmare is over they move to transfers. No time, really. Unless of course you’d prefer all UC’s release ALL their decisions on April 30th, and never sooner.

Hey I got into UCSD the first batch this year, so it’s all good :)

Hey guys this is only my 2nd post but I’ve talked to a couple different admissions officers in the past week & thought I’d relay the info!
First-off, noone I spoke with would tell me when the next batch will come either. One did confirm that the majority of non-taggers will most-likely be in the last batch (as most of you probably assumed) because by then they’ll know what kind of room they have. So question- do you guys think they’ll wait until some of the taggers accept or deny their offer to see what kind of GPA cut-off they’ll have for non-taggers? (obviously some with TAG applied to several UCs & will have to chose one, but it doesn’t make sense because some won’t make their final decision until after April 30th you know?)
Secondly, one of the reasons I called was because when I logged in to see view my application, I saw a different message regarding my transfer academic update (which was weird because I completed it back in January). So I called to make sure they actually received my transfer update, & she said that a lot of students went back into transfer academic update AFTER already completing it & that means they have to go all the way back to verify the application again. I didn’t do this but she said this could delay admission status. The wait is killing me too…

I wouldn’t mind if all decisions came out on April 30th. For one, although I would be anxiously awaiting April 30th, I would know for certain when the decisions come out and probably wouldn’t be checking every day, several times a day like a obsessed madwoman (lol). Secondly, I’d be less worried that not getting a decision notification meant that I wasn’t accepted because I’d know that every got their notification on the same day. Sorry if I sound ****ed, I’m just greatly frustrated with this process. lol

i have one question. for impacted majors, do taggers(people who had TAG) get priority over non-taggers?? for example, im doing aerospace engineering, and it was decleared as impacted major starting this year. i coulndt TAG because i was missing many GE classes. SD is my first choice and im worried cuz i didnt TAG. any thoughts?
