<p>high GPA is not a guarantee anymore. Look at the admission stats thread I created. The numbers can’t be much different than transfer numbers. They indicate about a 4% drop in admission offers to all freshman in UC system, including an increase in admission offers to out-of-state applicants. So they mostly hit California residents. Admissions at UC are more competitive than they’ve ever been.</p>
<p>I have a 3.91 GPA and if I don’t get in I will be ****ed. There are people in my classes with 3.2’s that have gotten in!</p>
