<p>Actually nightmight…its 50% of accepted students had a 3.0-3.2</p>
<p>Thats TOTALLY different than saying 50% of those with 3.0 - 3.2’s were accepted.</p>

<p>Get over yourself Oliver; they’re not procrastinating. EVERY UC has a “Please Wait” This is merely protocol for them. Once again, stop whining and acting as if they owe you something. Just because you failed to read and have the patience of a 2 year old A.D.D child doesn’t mean UCSD is doing anything wrong. They do this year in and year out and they notified you saying that admission decisions will be handed out by April 30th. Shut your mouth and stop complaining about how UCSD is procrastinating until then. Seriously, you whine more than a PMSing Lindsay Lohan you drama queen.</p>
<p>Also, for the people who are wondering about the Housing message. I actually went through all 111 pages of the UCSD acceptance page for last year. The Housing Message is a clear indicator that you will be admitted. The Aventuer site is not. For the people checking the aventeur new parent site, that site is now DOWN. It never was an indicator if you read last years thread. The Housing indicator is. If your housing message changed, you will be admitted now if not later. </p>
<p>With that said, my housing message changed. See you guys on the other side within a few weeks.</p>
<p>So I just checked the website again after my workout. My initial statement that they fixed the housing bug has seemed to go down the drain. Mine just changed within the last hour telling me to return on May 2nd.</p>
<p>Fenris are you talking about the newly phrased housing message or the previous one? I mean, did last years thread have the same exact one? This one seems much more generic and general which leads me to believe its just how every single applicant’s housing message looks at this point.</p>

<p>The new one: Please come back May 2nd</p>
<p>These are the same as last year. Everyone whose housing message changed to the new one was accepted. It is not generic and general. If you go back, everyone whose message changed was ultimately accepted. That’s the general trend.</p>

<p>Totally not possible as the minimum GPA for contention is what? 2.8/3.0? =P</p>

<p>My housing message changed just like an hour or two ago from the “our records indicate you cannot apply at this time” to: Housing will be accepting applications for Fall term beginning May 2, 2010. Please come back to this site at this time.</p>

<p>I wish someone with a GPA that is eligible for contention and that based on years of verifiable data, has an extremely small chance of being accepted says their housing changed.</p>
