<p>Some rankings put Davis above UCSD (Forbes), but this is only a recent occurrence. </p>
<p>What do you guys think about UCSB Regents scholarship/honors vs. UCSD? I’m kinda leaning towards SB but I don’t know if it’s dumb to turn down UCSD for UCSB…</p>

<p>@Zanelol: Whoa, wait…was I supposed to fill out the TB survey??? When I saw the link, I clicked on it and it opened up the TB survey for me. I answered the questions and it said something like “Thank you for completing the survey”. But I got to the survey because of clicking on the link, not because the website chose me as one of the people to take the survey. Did I break any rules? Should I be worried?</p>

Probably not all Regents and Jacobs scholars got the call. We had a limited amount of students calling a lot of applicants. Also if you didn’t pick up the call we wouldn’t leave a message if your parents picked up the phone we wouldn’t leave the news with them too. If that helps</p>

<p>@lostinmymind it’s not dumb to turn down UCSD for UCSB if you feel UCSB is a better fit. You should go to whatever college feels right for you; that’s where you will be most successful!</p>
<p>Man I was really hoping I could go to school tomorrow with an acceptance from UCSD in my pocket since I was rejected from Davis… But I guess no decision is better than being rejected by both</p>

I am a senior who was already accepted to UCSD via phone call but after clicking on Zanelol’s link, it opened up the TB survey for me (after I logged in) and I filled it out. I’m afraid that I may have broke some rule because the website itself didn’t prompt me to take the survey, rather I clicked on a link to take the survey. I didn’t break any rules, did I???</p>
<p>Pick the UC that has your people - regardless of honors programs. Do you want to live in San Diego, Santa Barbara or Davis? Beach, colder beach, or 90 minutes to SF/40 minutes to Sacramento/in the middle of nowhere?</p>
<p>My stats suggest rejection from UCSD but the housing message has been giving me hope <em>sigh</em>. This is going to be a hard rejection if I get rejected</p>
<p>@caligirl14 true, I don’t know which would be better for me though! I’m definitely straight edge and am not interested in the UCSB partying, but I just got a better vibe when I visited SB than I did at SD. Ugh these decisions are the worst</p>

<p>@Korean101 UCI actually has two honors programs. CHP (Campus Honors Program) and the more prestigious Regents’ Scholars. You can be admitted to CHP and not get Regents’.</p>
