@JohnM2020 not true. people got regents without a call. The calls were just made to random regents and URM people, but not all of them.

I feel like decisions are already out but not made to the public. There’s no use chancing everyone when way over there in the computers of ucsd, our fate is already there lol.
The UC San Diego Class of 2020 Decisions Thread does not have even one “rejection” it has plenty of acceptances. For a school that rejects more sudents than it accepts, I find it very strange that no stat-supported rejections were released yet (posted) on CC. I don’t want to jump into conclusions, but UCSD is certainly making people nervous for no reason. Don’t let them brush you off. Demand that they give you comprehensive answers with concrete numbers. You deserve it.
@Justshootme I think March 30th people may have rejected or wait listed but irresponsible staff in UCSD left us undecided to go home.
@and1kingbro you’ll def get in. i got in out of state with a 2040 and 4.46 UW but you have it together. ave accept gpa is 4.05
For all you march 30th people out there, you really think they got all their acceptances out of the way already? Give it time and keep calm. I’m one of you.
Here’s the contact info for the admissions office: http://admissions.ucsd.edu/contact/
They will be open from 9 AM PST-4 PM PST tomorrow if you want to call.
While we shouldn’t bombard them with calls, hopefully we can reach a live body by calling and that person may be able to give us an answer as to a decision timeline/may be able to let us know if they are still rolling out acceptances.
I like the suggestion that we ask how many people were accepted on Friday. They may not be able to give out that number but if they do we could compare that to the total number of applications and predict whether or not acceptances are still to come.
Wow I don’t get why UCSD is making some people wait for decisions when they probably already have most of their decisions in… I got in already on the 11th but I hope all you March 30 people luck!! Maybe UCSD has only decided on the for sure-acceptances so there might be more to come! Don’t lose hope!
I think we should bombard them with calls and we should demand clear answers and results. This isn’t a professional and humane way that they treated us.
I don’t know if bombarding them with calls will do any good. That may make them too busy to give us a fast decision or it could anger them into prolonging our wait. I think they key here is to be polite because they aren’t under any obligation to give us an answer until April 1.
