@perksofbeingdani Uchicago comes out on Wed lol. Apparently there are several theories about how if your portal changes you’re likely to get accepted but I don’t buy it
I agree with @perksofbeingdani that everyone needs to calm down. @-)
@Katecat27 P.S. UC’s don’t accept just strong students. there are many average students that have been accepted because UC’s wanted to keep balance.

Just wanted to remind everyone because i know sometimes i need to be reminded as well- life goes on. You WILL be just fine wherever you end up. There is a place fro you in society and worrying will simply slow you down or get in your way. Especially if you’re thinking about grad school, gpa is all that really matters and transfers are always an option too. So please remember that working hard will get you to your goal, no matter where you end up. Try to take deep breaths and be patient, we’re in this together. The ex-dean of the Vet school at Davis attended a csu (Humboldt State) for undergrad, he always used to tell me, it does not matter where you go.I genuinely wish you all the best. Anxiety has taken me over too these past few days and I don’t even recognize myself. I have truly been concerned for myself but I just need to slow down and remember that these four years of your life are simply the beginning, no matter where you are. Your experience is what you make of it.

I’m not a “super angry person”. I just hate when people devalue others’ accomplishments out of jealousy. Yes this process is stressful and competitive, but why should that make anyone so willing to rag on others who have worked hard for their achievements? UCs admit students who they feel will thrive academically and personally. Whether you believe they are “just average” or not, clearly the school they were accepted in saw something special in them. There is no reason to put them down or find a way to dismiss the value of their acceptance.
I don’t want to argue with you, but please realize that your words hurt. Everyone has worked hard for all of their acceptances. I wish the best for you in getting in and choosing a school that is right for you. I hope you will extend this same wish to everyone you know.
Would u guys rather go to UCI, Davis, or SD?

Hmm at this point anywhere I get in, but initially it was davis after I spent a month there for a program. Butttt I got waitlisted. Proabbly SD next, I’d be with my sister too so @Aquariumgal
