From financial aid update it is clear that a student is a regent scholar, but how do you find out if you got into Honors?
@bsmdint College honors is not important at UCSD at all, hence no real designation.
Wondering if I should entertain the idea of attending UCSD because I found out its cognitive science program is ranked so highly. Should I take this opportunity over something like UW DA Biochem and Honors?
Got into Muir (first choice) for Cogntiive and Behavioral Neuroscience
IB Diploma, OOS
UW GPA: 3.78
ACT: 34
SAT: 1490
Good extracurrics (direct a non-profit, dental shadowing, semi-pro gaming awards), but I felt like it wasn’t super amazing.
6.5/10
@Lance5150 sorry you didn’t get in. Your stats are certainly strong so hope you have other great choices.
Is there a group chat/snap group for UCSD admits??
Has anybody received their admission packet?
@huanhoy I got mine today but I only live an hour from UCSD.
Me too, I live in north park and science does mines today. It has the triton card, housing information, acceptance letter, and something else.

The admission packet that came today is so bright and colorful. It’s sad they made admitted student day 4/15 for several campuses. It would have been fun to see UCSB & UCSD, but they’re the same day!
No admission packet here yet, but we went to the admitted student reception in our area today. The printed materials are the brightest and most colorful we’ve ever seen! The paper is not only nice to look at, but also feel nice to the touch. Well done, UCSD.
@bogeyorpar UCSD did an awesome job today! We even drove from LA to SD just to check out ERC. Got home around 11:15 pm and found the admission packet in the mail. If you loved the paper at the reception, wait til you see the admission packet, not to mention the crown. Go Tritons!
