Son applied to Electrical Engineering but accepted into the alternate major - Physics (Warren College). He did COSMOS and an internship at UCSD school of engineering, so he’s disappointed.
UCSD has been my son’s dream school since elementary school. He likes physics and is very good at it. But he’s accepted by engineering everywhere (UW, Purdue, UCD, UCSC, UCR, SDSU, SLO, etc.) except UCSD. It’s going to be a very tough decision. Waiting for other UCs.
Congrats to everyone who’s admitted. Over 100,000 applicants this year so not an easy feat.
