Was everyone rejected or are there still people waiting?
I’m still on the waitlist, but I do not have high hopes considering all the rejections lately.
@dogluvr1997 are you on the transfer or freshman waitlist?

I emailed their admission office and they said that I should expect an answer by July 15, but that was before ICE said anything about international students. I was waitlisted for environmental engineering and STILL waiting, hopefully tomorrow we will find out.

Nothing has changed on my portal, still on the waitlist. (As a transfer student) Are others on the same boat?
@dogluvr1997 I am also in the same boat(transfer student). I have been waiting and have not heard back. Looking at Reddit and CC it looks like there was only one wave and that was before the SIR deadline (on May 28th). I am not sure what they are doing but hopefully, more people get accepted.
It’s just upsetting that they are taking SO long when the SIR was due June 1st. What major are you in?
@dogluvr1997 Yea I don’t know what they are possibly waiting for. I want to move on because it’s so far in but then I keep thinking that if they had no space then why would they keep the waitlist open for so long. It’s just giving me hope for no reason and not letting me move on honestly. I thought this year there was gonna be a lot of waves with everything going on but just ONE wave and that to before the SIR deadline.

I agree, I’m already committed to UCSC and I’m going to have to register for classes soon. I would have loved to know about San Diego sooner so I could have had different options. 
The same thing happened with Davis too, I didn’t find out until a day before the deadline and was denied.

This was just posted by UC on the admissions by campus. UCSD accepted more in state to manage the expected loss of OOS and international
Since they posted this data does this mean that the waitlist is done? I am so disappointed in how they handled the waitlist this year. If they were not going to accept many people then why did they keep the waitlist for so long? At least an email would be nice but nope just radio silent from them for months.
Transfer student. But I guess they must have pushed the deadline bc I got no email.
I got my waitlist decision and unfortunately it was a rejection letter.
I’m not happy with how waitlist transfers were treated this year and how we had to wait 3 months with no updates whatsoever to receive decisions. It wouldn’t have hurt to update us so we don’t go chasing some kind of hope that they instilled in that waitlist offer.
