<p>I know someone on CC who was denied admissions at UCD and had an approved TAG. </p>
<p>He called them and admissions said it was their mistake and they are working on it. </p>
<p>I suppose there can be mistakes made. Geez, but if all you deserved to get in and didn’t, then that’s just telling you something about UCSD Admissions…:/</p>
<p>yeah another CC’er on the appeals thread seems to have the same situation going, I’m hoping its the same for me too…but its taking forever to get a hold of someone.</p>
<p>Wow. I’m sorry to hear that those of you with a TAG got rejected. I would try calling them and asking them about it as well, as it was well stated that a TAG is a guarantee (or else what is the point?)</p>
<p>I would be more than happy to help any of you with appeals, if you need it. You’d need to speak with an advisor but I can give you feedback or help your appeal become more compelling. </p>
<p>In light of what happened earlier with UCSD’s screw up, it doesn’t help that they missed their own deadline and are denying transfer students with approved TAG admission BUT this is just the school’s admissions department. It doesn’t have bearing on it’s schools academics, does it? So I advise that those who have UCSD as their dream school should keep trying, and good luck :D</p>

<p>I have good stats and it looks like it is an error. They’re going to call me back when they work it out. The woman on the phone could not figure out why I was rejected.</p>
<p>I hope it is just an error and they decide to grant you admission.</p>
<p>I hope that they fix that stupid error and let you in asap!!!</p>

<p>yeah i’m on hold with them, the lady was like
“hmmm why don’t you call back in 5 or ten minutes”
and i was like, “why don’t you just leave me on hold…that was as soon as someone opens up i can get through?”</p>

<p>TAG rejected…trying to get through, but I keep getting the “all lines are busy right now” message.</p>

<p>I’ve been trying to get through for over an hour now.</p>
<p>I don’t know the actual email address but there is a small link that says “contact us” at the bottom of the myapp webpage with the rejection message. They responded yesterday when I used that link.</p>
<p>I was just on campus less than an hour ago. I doubt you’ll get much help today. Their offices are pretty swamped right now.</p>
