<p>I can’t help but find this whole thing funny it’s like they got lazy and just rejected everyone regardless if you had a tag or not</p>
<p>Sounds like i am in the same situation as snicker. I indicated TAG and IGETC on my application and meet all the TAG requirements and was still rejected. Called the admission office earlier today and had the Admission Rep put me on hold for ten minutes only return and asked me to give him a number so he would call me back because there was no indication on why I was not admitted. He just called back before noon and said that their computers are down and that there are a couple people with the same problem as me. He apologized and said he would try to get back 2 me today but most likely Monday…YET THE WAIT CONTINUES…</p>
<p>Thanks Snicker. I just e-mailed them. Hopefully I can get through today. If not, I hope I get some sort of e-mail response by early next week.</p>
<p>*Edit: I’m still calling…I just wanted to e-mail them in case I couldn’t get through today. Have to be at work in an hour and I keep getting the “all circuits are busy” message.</p>

<p>Lovelo, I still think you should try to call them if you want to go to UCSD.</p>
<p>It seems like them made many mistakes this year in admissions, so there’s a HUGE possibility that your rejection was a mistake, especially since you have a 3.97 GPA.</p>

<p>thanks everyone. I got into berkley and ucla, but wanted to be in sd with my family nonetheless. it’s just lame that they’ve been so unprofessional and then rejected everyone. Their decisions have been really inconsistent… (I saw people on this board let in with really low gpa’s) unless they had a serious medical/family issue that they had to overcome or something it really doesn’t make sense. I wish you all the best of luck!</p>

<p>F*** UCSD - I was just up at UCI today for their little orientation/tour and it’s a perfect;y nice school - and their staff is way more professional and helpful than UCSD.</p>

but i got into ucla and cal so i didn’t really care by the time i checked the ucsd decision…and that’s not to lessen anyone else’s acceptance to ucsd i still think it is an awesome school</p>

<p>wow strange so many people got rejected… even with tag? hmm maybe there is an error in ither your understanding of tag( don’t get angry at me ) or the way you did application or because of the school. tag isn’t only for winter right?
im just trying to think logically so that tag kids can be tritons if they wish… it should be done that way…</p>
