It’s all about the delivery! What is unfortunate is how many applicants have not been precise is knowing what the requirements are for admission. Many seem so surprised that their assumptions are incorrect. This is not something to leave to chance!!

@108Degrees if you updated the course in th TAU they’re aware of it. If they accepted you without that class even in your planned or in progress courses, then you’re fine and they won’t care. You just need to complete requirements for you major when you’re at UCSD so don’t worry. I asked whether they would rescind my offer because I withdrew from a required courses after the TAU deadline, and they updated the change and said it was okay. They said they wouldn’t rescind the offer. The majors that should be concerned about stuff like this are the other STEM majors listed in the conditions. If you updated before they offered you admission then you’re fine.

@ald6191 Hey man just want to let you know that i emailed Timothy Borch and he responded within less than 2 hours. My application was reviewed and i have been admitted into UCSD, as an Undeclared Major. You were just as helpful as the counselor I saw this morning. I really appreciated it dude!
Now does anyone know the process of major transfer at UCSD?
and @baaazinga! Spring of 2014 Ulink agreement was for a 3.0. It became 3.5 in the Fall of 2014

@kneesbees You’re more than qualified to be at UCSD. I am definitely going to appeal! My brother goes to UCSD and I really want to go there! But hey ya win some and ya lose some! Even if the appeal doesn’t work out, I will be going to either UC Irvine or San Diego State

I feel really guilty that people who were way more deserving with a higher GPA got rejected. I’m really sorry, but I’m sure you all will get into UCLA/UCB! I heard they do a lottery for impacted majors, like computer science, so that’s most likely why. Good luck everyone!
