@mathislife I am also grateful since I got accepted to UCSD with incomplete prereqs (I missed the second english composition class and I took Business Calculus covering Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 concepts instead of traditional Calculus 1 and 2).
I did not take them for Spring though and the acceptance contract states that they should be completed by Spring 2019 but I still got admitted? They see what classes I took for Spring 2019 (although not knowing my grades) though so I am kind of confused.
I guess that means they allow me to take it/them at UCSD if I do decide to enroll.
@capnlonelygale I was accepted too and I’ve run into the same financial aid issue!! I’m planning on calling Monday, just wanted to let you know you’re not the only one!!!
@brebre123 I’m sorry you didn’t get in Admissions is kind of a crapshoot in some ways; it very much depends who is reading your application, what they’re looking for, which apps came before you, etc etc, and there are so many factors we don’t know about. I got into UCB and UCLA but not UCSD or SDSU for instance; they were looking for different things, apparently. Just remember that it isn’t you who got rejected, just your application, and that’s just some numbers and words on a page. It doesn’t determine your worth as a person-- you are still worthy! I know it sounds cheesy but I hope you can take it to heart. I hope you find happiness wherever you end up. Best of luck

Hey nothing to apologize for. When you graduate your diploma will still have UC Berkeley with your name on it just like everyone else graduating from there. No one is going to stamp your old gpa on it. Enjoy your time there if that is your choice school. Congrats!

hey guys! was accepted today (woohoo) but saw that i got in for comm (which i haven’t even taken a single class in that field). i think i honestly accidentally clicked that as my major when applying, because i am currently almost done with my psych major and im getting there with my business major too. are they lenient with switching majors as a transfer? I am waiting to hear from USC (my top choice), but will def be at UCSD next fall if that doesn’t work out.
