Hey guys, I am new to this thread, but like everyone else I’m in the same boat, waitlisted and waiting for 3 months! I hope we find out soon, I’m starting to get impatient lol
If you think about it we applied in November, so it’s been 8 months since applying and it feels like ages!!!
@Rosebud101 Hey there! It really has been a long wait. I have a feeling that this week we might hear back. I think if we don’t hear back within this week then I really need to move on lol. Around this time last year, they officially closed the waitlist. Someone mentioned that they got a reply from the admission that they plan to keep the waitlist until early August at most, so hearing back this week can be plausible. I don’t really have much hope tbh because it’s so far in and also they released the data for 2020 admission. BUT until we officially get the rejection anything can happen. Good Luck!
I get so anxious every evening hoping that they’ll have finally released decisions; this is the worst form of torture haha. It would be disappointing and confusing if they deny everyone after one wave back in may, hopefully we hear soon 
Me too! Every day I get super anxious from 4-5 and then move on. This wait is slowly killing me. I really really hope that there is more than just one wave and they didn’t wait three months with no communication just for us to all be rejected. That would be so cruel.
@sstudent2020 @stressedsnr I feel you both. At least the wait will be almost over, praying to god this wait was worth while… I emailed admissions the other week stating “I am extremely disappointed in UCSD and how they are handling the waitlist this year. In the end, it’s all business but I feel ignored and just left aside for their convenience. Thank you for your time and I will be waiting for an update status by early August.” Tbh there’s no point in asking if admissions will release our status on a rolling basis, so might as well send a complaint. Well, now when I try to log into my portal I am met with “500 UNAVAILABLE.” Whether that be just me and my internet or they are doing something with the portal.

My UCI waitlist portal is doing the same thing. Hm.
Just Checked and I am also getting the 500 UNAVAILABLE when I try logging in. Its prob a glitch bc it seems like the same thing is happening with portals for other schools as well.

I think if we hear back it’ll probably be on Thursday or Friday because those are the days they usually release decisions and I think they also closed the waitlist last year on a Friday
Every college which has their portal hosted through Cloudffare went down. Really common issue. Check Twitter before getting any up.

Did anyone else get a virtual events email, followed by a “Due to a system error, you may have received an email regarding upcoming virtual events for prospective students. We apologize for any inconvenience.”?

Berkeley, UCLA, and UCD have closed their waitlists, are you all still holding out some hope? Quite a few schools are still accepting some students from the waitlist but as we get closer to August I’ve pretty much accepted that there likely aren’t any spots available
Guys, UCB people just received their decision, so far, everyone on the thread saying they were rejected. This greatly concerned me, perhaps they already reached their enrollment goal in UCSD as well.
I just don’t understand why UCSD was wanting so long for. What was the reason to have so many students stressed over something if they already knew that they had overenrolled or no space left. UCLA had 9 waves and UCB was constantly updating their students with live chats and emails about where they were at. Its been 3 months of no communication what so ever with UCSD. They should have known where they were at with the enrollment by now. UCLA has not technically closed the waitlist but they let the students know that as of now they have no space left but because of the uncertainty of this year they will keep the waitlist for the rest of summer. That’s at least something. It’s not like they didn’t know back in June where they were with the enrollment. That is prob the most upsetting thing for me and I will never let this one down. I would have been fine if they had just rejected me back in June. I would have moved on by now, but instead, I am holding on some stupid hope which just resulting me not being happy with my current school. Please just do us a favor and end this.
