Denied. Disappointed that UCSD could make us wait three months just to reject everyone. I had high hopes at first that I would get off the waitlist. I thought at least they would keep us informed on what the situation is like at the school just like UCB.

No my portal is the same. I’m not even upset that we didn’t get in. I’m upset that they stressed all of us out for this long without telling us anything.

My portal hasn’t been updated either, I love that we just got a generic email without any updates along the way. Hopefully some of you if you haven’t heard back got in!

I believe the portal will not update right away or at all. Most of us who got the email have not received an updated portal.
I also agree with you all, that SD should’ve handled it much more better. It is ashamed that we had to sit here everyday constantly updating our portals hoping we would get in. With no communication whatsoever, SD has really disappointed us, or at least me. However, Like what people have been saying throughout this forum, DO NOT feel discouraged! If you goal is to go into a graduate program, make sure you do everything in your willpower to get into your dream graduate program. Regardless, no matter where you go, it is how you perceive your environment and how you take advantage of the resources around you. If you made community college worth your while, I assure you that no matter what college you go to, you will strive and end up where you truly want to be in life. I wish you all the very best in your education, and be happy that we’re almost done with achieving our bachelors!

Can’t believe they made us wait for 3 months just to reject us. Oh well, I want everyone to know that it does not matter where you go, I know everyone will do amazing things regardless of where we end up. Keep your head up, everyone!

Still haven’t received email either way. Figure either they are sending out different waves of rejection emails or they haven’t sent out acceptances yet and maybe will be tomorrow. Probably the first scenario but hoping the second.
My rejection letter ended up my spam folder. Figure that’s what happens when you send one generic letter to a bunch of people.
I got denied as well. I wish they told us sooner rather than string us along like this…

hope that admissions will do better for future classes. but my expectations are low, since they have demonstrated this time that those who are not yet paying customers are unworthy of basic respect.
