Ours also says mid December
Same with my son’s myIllini account - mid December.
Thanks and DS checked the portal and it is mid of December.
How would I do for Math and CS with a 3.83 UW and 34 ACT?
My 34 falls right into the midpoint of middle 50 ACT but my 3.83 is a little on the lower side from the mid point of 3.875 of the middle 50% gpa. However, I think I have a strong course rigor as I am taking MultiVariable calculus one semester and Linear Algebra the next and took Comp Sci related classes all four years. Does that make it a reach or a match?
Heading to C-U tomorrow for a dance open house and audition. I grew up in Champaign, so I’m looking forward to a trip to Papa Del’s!
We are OOS and looking at https://admissions.illinois.edu/Invest/scholarships-all it doesn’t look like UIUC offers anything worth considering for OOS students making it difficult financially to choose it? Or are we missing something?
Does anyone know what time decisions are typically released or begin being released on decision day?
@Pelorider Around 4 p.m. I believe but it depends on time zones.
UIUC doesn’t offer aid to OOS or international students. Grainger and Geis are the most competitive colleges in the university.
As far as chancing goes, you might get more responses if you start your own thread.
Decisions for Early Action come out on December 13!! Good luck everyone!
Crossing fingers for Friday night!
super nervous for son… Good luck, everyone
Yes, last year it came out on Dec 14th at 4 PM Central time. It was exciting when "You’re an Illini!’ popped up for my DD.
Good luck, everyone!
Received email…Friday @4 (OOS) … fingers crossed. Good luck!
I am not looking forward to it. UIC is off the potential colleges list once I found they don’t give a dime to OOS students. We wouldn’t even have applied if we knew about this before hand. Serves us right for not doing proper homework.
Good Luck Everyone!! Only a couple more days!
I hate to be this type of person but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could chance me

@Gojags14 I would say low reach. UW is kind of low. Wish you best luck.
I know the EA results will be tomorrow @ 4pm. So, would you get an email to check the portal to see the result, or the email will say if you got in, or you don’t get any email but just check the portal to see the result?
Also, if you didn’t get it, would you ALWAYS be deferred or they could reject you also?
Are you in-state or out? CS is tough at Illinois and OOS makes it harder. Lots of OOS kids deferred to RD last year.
