If I remember correctly from last year, my D found out by checking the portal before she got an email.
They do not defer everyone, at least they didn’t last year. My D was deferred and later admitted, though she did not end up attending.
I got an email saying that decisions will be out at 4 pm. Yikes yikes yikes, that’s so soon! Best of luck, everyone!
Hey, @LvMy2Byz I don’t think they always deferred. Last year, a bunch of my seniors got rejected in the EA round. Anyways, best of luck

My daughter is hoping for a spot in Marketing. I hope the range for the 50% for test score/GPA are accurate and a good predictor. She is on the low range of the test score but high range for GPA from a competitive high school.

I (Asian female) graduated from ECE department from UIUC in 1994. I took a lot of CS classes. Never realized that it is so hard to get in ECE or take CS classes if you are non-CS student. I got software developer job right away. My son is applying CS plus economics. Life is so long. Don’t let college define you. Be confident! Good luck to everyone!

@zzComtra - congratulations. I should have applied Math+CS - I applied to CS as 1st and Math as 2nd; got accepted into Math. But I actually want to double major or major/minor Math/CS. Anyone know how difficult it is to change from Math to Math+CS in LAS ?
