Many of the selective schools in the US prefer that you show them some love. One way to do that is visiting the school.
Is it that way with the UK schools? From what I’ve seen on this thread and others, it seems kids are applying sight unseen and visiting after getting a conditional (or unconditional) acceptance.
I was thinking if my S23 were to continue his interest in studying overseas, then I was planning to do a trip to the UK the summer after junior year. I’m waiting almost until the last moment to do a trip to the UK in the event he just wants to stay in the US for school (my preference).
