I’ve noticed that there aren’t many community spaces specifically for Ukrainian international students preparing for college abroad. While searching for information, I found that offers helpful resources and guidance for Ukrainian students. Thought it might be useful for others too. Are there any other communities or websites you would recommend for Ukrainian students navigating the college application process?
I suppose it depends on the country where they’re refugees.

I know some people on Facebook who post resources for Ukrainian students and scholars, so that is also a place to look.

What grade/level were you when you left Ukraine?
Were you enrolled in ESL in the US?
What grade did you start as in the US? Were you correctly placed (math in Ukraine tends to be more advanced by 2 years, ie., normal Ukrainian students would be on the +2 track, but may be improperly placed-this can be remediated.. or not.. depending on the student’s age and school district.)
Did you take the ACT/SAT? please note that ESL students are allowed an English/native language dictionary to level the playing field but the request must be official. Also note that if you have dyslexia, ADD, etc, you’re entitled to extra time for these tests too.
