Iām sure hoping the next wave is 1/18 and they give us ALL decisions.
This waiting is getting pretty tough for us EA folks who did everything on our end super early, and likewise simply want to get our decisions!
The admissions rep before the tour made it very clear that they wrap up the EA applicant decisions before the RD deadline of 1/15. Guess they abandoned that idea?
Probably understaffed like everyone else, which is understandable.

My MA-resident son is still waiting for CS - his twin brother got in on 12/7 for biology.
Waiting son: SAT 1550 GPA UW 3.74, W 3.93
Accepted son: ACT 35 GPA UW 3.73, W 4.10 (what a difference 1 extra AP course makes)
I would have thought the CS kid would at least get in as an undecided major by now if theyāre not going to take him in CS.
That would suck because we are in state and my son has great stats!
Feel the same - send in my EA application on October 11th and still no decision.
Same - my daughter applied nursing end of September. Still no decision. I am assuming at this point she is denied (which we had anticpated anyway with their super low acceptance rate for nursing).

They are following a Tuesday trend. Itās not in stone or a birdie, but prolly 18th.
I really donāt think thatās it. I think itās a matter of how the admissions folks are reading applications. Both of your kids have incredible stats!
My sonās email was from the 15th, which was Satā¦
UMassā Twitter indicated that the last wave was released in the 13th so prolly a mail-portal lag? But that does bunk the Tuesday release thoughtā¦

Do u have that tweet? I donāt think that is accurate. They posted that Jan 15 was the cut off for regular decision. That has nothing to do with EA.
Is the process of reviewing apps random? Because, on cc and subreddit, the wait seems pretty long.
My MA D22 submitted it only a week before the deadline. Is it that or something to do with merit?
My mistake. The first email the kid got was on the 7th! The one I happened to see was the 15thā¦ this childā¦
