If anything, the Isenberg Exploratory Track is more valuable than before because they eliminated internal transfers to Isenberg from 2022.
If you fulfill the academic requirements in your freshman year and find a business major that you like, you will get it. You are not transferring and competing against other students like in other business schools.
And I have seen some students initially assigned to “exploratory track” move to regular Isenberg before enrollment deadline based on yield.
I see the same thing you do. A verify address and application checklist sections. At the bottom there are three things that have checkmarks next to them.
I have contacted the admissions via Twitter and Instagram asked for the exact dates of decision release. I even expressed the anxiety and stress we are all going through, their response is “Sorry to hear- there will be more waves through the end of January.”
I think they are understaffed for this task. With this rate we might hear from schools where we applied for RD before hearing from Amherst.
Yea my counselor told me that they are understaffed too. Infact it seems like they aren’t releasing wave by wave after all, on reddit, some people get decisions in between the waves. Also, my counselor said that nursing, cs and other competitive majors are going through additional scrutiny in absence of SATs which is really surprising since this is the second year of test-optional.
A lot of test optional schools learned from the good and bad of last year and are adjusting. Lots of schools are taking their time with CS admissions in early rounds and waiting to admit regular decision so they ensure they get a better view of the candidate pool.
