Hi everyone, if I were to study Biomedical Engineering, which university will be a better choice? In terms of future career prospects, school reputation, etc… Thks!

Will depend on what do you want do after graduation?

Nevermind. Umich is superior in every aspect.

Wustl Biomedical eng. is a lot better (one of the top 5-6 in the states)

That’s what I thought. I read somewhere that WUSTL’s biomed engine faculty is good. Do you think employers care about that in the future? Or will they prefer UMich cos it’s a more well-known uni in the states…

datadriven,
That is not true according USNEWS

http://www.infozee.com/channels/ms/usa/bioengineering-biomedical-engineering-rankings.htm

I believe he is confuse between these Uni.
University of Washington and Washington University in St. Louis

College2go, that is an old ranking (Fu foundation appeared twice.)
The USNews 2007 graudate ranking put WUSTL at No. 12, a five slots above the one you just cited. It shows the rapid progress of the program.

the link must be very old or a typo…,
care to share the latest survey?
